Randall Rollinson

The absence of standardized nomenclature for strategic planning and strategic management is the bane of our field. This foundational gap makes it extremely difficult to define an accurate and standardized body of knowledge. Battel tried to address this matter and so have others, yet it remains a challenge.

Randy, thanks pointing out that the problem is so fundamental that it has been an issue in developing the strategic planning and strategic planning body of knowledge, which I know you were part of. Can you provide a link to the Battel work? Sounds like it's a starting point for get all of us planners on the same page.
