No phones

No phones, email, employees, boss.  I savor and get lost in my run. I treasure my running partners; they, too, know the joy of running, the oneness with purpose and ability.

I have run for 46 years, For 15 years I have run Thursday track workouts coached by Olympian Jim Spivey and "Tuesday Night Six-Fifteen" and Saturday tempos with friends.  My long runs have yielded marathons: Chicago, Boston, New Orleans, Washington, D.C., and more. I have run Ironman and 5Ks. Running is my fiber, my soul.  Warm-up, build, tempo, intervals, cool-down, that’s me.

I have run in the U.S., Canada, the UK, France and Italy.  I have run flats, mountains, single-track, trails and roads.  I have run on the beach and on rocky slopes and through cornfields.  I run on business and vacation.  I run in the morning, day and night.  I run and will always run, whenever and wherever.
